Rapid growth of Microsoft Skills at ITpoint
After a wave of further training courses and delightful additions to the workforce (including a «Most Valuable Professional»), our customers now have massively more Microsoft knowledge at their disposal. Much more than a few months ago. Especially in the focus of know-how development: Office 365.
The overdue status of ITpoint as a Microsoft Gold Partner is a pleasant side effect. Much more important are the knowledge carriers behind them who support our customers in projects and with managed services. Two joined at the beginning of December:
Drago Petrovic: MVP with priority Office 365
Drago is one of the world’s approximately 3’000 and currently 31 Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professionals) in Switzerland. If you narrow down the «Office Apps & Services» on the corresponding Microsoft website, you will notice that only five remain. One of them: Drago Petrovic. He started at ITpoint as Principal Systems Engineer and we are very happy about that.
Roger Schnellmann: Exchange crack with Office 365 tendency
Our new Senior Systems Engineer Roger is also a Microsoft expert, a generalist with a deep understanding of Exchange. He is also trained and certified on Office 365 and will gain even more in-depth know-how in the future. He is an excellent addition to Drago, not least because the two have already worked closely together at their former employer. A further enrichment for the ITpoint Service Team.
Not a new addition, but with a drive forward at Office 365: Eve Meier
Not only to mention the newcomers, Professional Systems Engineer Eve has spent just over a year at ITpoint building up Office 365 skills. The recently acquired title of «Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert» has already been followed by the first implemented projects. We look forward to further action.
What’s behind all this?
The more intensive focus on Microsoft products and services has, by the way, to do with ITpoint’s strategy of expanding its own cloud and managed services concept ORIA with the services of the international cloud giants where appropriate. In a first step with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
