Highest performance level.
Faster speed.
Today, a smooth network connection is essential to maintain a company’s productivity and business agility.
Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) from Huawei, you benefit from more speed and better bandwidths, whether it’s for on-demand or AR/VR applications. Wi-Fi 6 supports four times the network bandwidth compared to Wi-Fi 5. No matter how many devices are transmitting at the same time, Wi-Fi 6 knows no weak connection.
With ITpoint’s Wi-Fi Managed Service, we’re happy to take care of your entire Wi-Fi infrastructure, actively monitoring it and keeping components up to date. Our subscription includes:
High-performance, interference-free and consistent network connectivity is needed for applications such as video transmission in 4K or 8K, as well as HD collaboration in high-density environments, Internet of Things (IoT) and wirelessly networked office environments. Wi-Fi 6 is designed specifically for this high-density connectivity.
Wi-Fi 6 offers more efficiency in sharing the bandwidth and handling the transfer because Wi-Fi 6 uses both the 2.4 and 5 gigahertz bands. Wi-Fi 6 regularly switches back and forth between the 2.4 and 5 gigahertz ranges depending on the load, which ensures less interference and higher speed.
The “Target Wake Time” activation function switches end devices to standby mode as soon as they are not transmitting via WLAN. Thanks to flexible scheduling for the “Wake Time”, client devices can sleep much longer than with 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) and start up again with less interference. In the process, the battery life of smartphones, IoT devices or other devices is extended.
Wi-Fi 6 supports the new OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) technology, which allows data transmission signals to be split into smaller signals. The router sends them directly to individual devices in the network. Since multiple devices can be served in one transmission window, the router does not have to wait for media access for each packet.
Wi-Fi 6 enables simultaneous connection of multiple clients to a single access point (AP) with ” Multiple User – Multiple Input Multiple Output” (MU-MIMO) technology, allowing neighboring devices to transmit in parallel.
The encryption standard WPA3 (Wi-Fi Protected Access 3) is mandatory for Wi-Fi 6 and ensures a more secure connection. The number “3” indicates the generation of WPA.
I look forward to hearing from you!
